Little did anyone know that India's men Hockey team reached finals of Azlan Shah Cup after 12 long years. Did anyone celebrate this achievement! Rather people were concerned about the results of IPL matches!
Its a pity that one dont get recognition even after excelling in a prestigious tournament with a sizable participation of 7 nations. Compare that to the triseries triumph of the Indian Cricket team and the huge sum of money players were loaded with as a consequence. Seeing the deserted state of Indian Hockey, time has come where we need to encourage them to perform better! The character they have shown after the Olympics' Qualifying debacle must be applauded, especially by the media.
