Literacy ! Come on !!

This word is disturbing Indian democracy like anything ! Inspite of some 'brave' attempts by the Union Government to educate one and all, India is still languishing at an unimpressive 61 % Literacy rate. The money inflow is not distributed upto the last mile and initiatives like 'National Literacy Mission' are left in the crunch. The problem aggravates in the densely populated states, where lesser mortals are supposed to be in dire straits. Credit goes to the deadlocks associated with Indian Bureaucracy and Polity.
We should realize how important is the spread of education, more than educating ourselves.
